Private music lessons are our most popular lessons.  Our private lessons provide individualized instruction to students of all ages and levels in a fun, encouraging and nurturing setting.  We offer lessons for Piano, Guitar (all styles!), Voice, Violin, Saxophone, Flute, Cello, etc.  Click here to see our faculty information.

-Already taking music lessons? Summer is an excellent time to maintain and polish your skills.  Don’t let your whole year’s hard work slip during summer! 
-Brand new to music lessons?  Summer is a great time to start!  Our 6-week summer program is the perfect “trial” for you before committing to our year long program.
-Thinking about try a new instrument?  Summer is the perfect time to try that other instrument you've always wanted to try.

Music 101 (click for calendar)

Music 101 class is a 50 min. small group class meeting once a week.  Through body movement, singing, improvisation and fun games, this class will cover basic music knowledge and music appreciation.

Implemented and trusted by music educators around the world, musicianship training is widely used to improve overall quality of musicians of all ages. Very often, music instructors have to spend time during private lessons to cover basic theory knowledge. Music 101 class is specially designed in a fun and encouraging setting to help students improve musicianship, make their weekly lessons more efficient, and make them to enjoy music more.

As a part of our summer program, students of age 6-11 are required to take Music 101 class along with their private lessons. 

Basic Package (*BP)--Includes one private lesson (30, 45 or 60 min.) and one Music 101 class per week
Plus Package (*PP)— Includes two private lessons (30, 45 or 60 min.) and one Music 101 class per week.

"Piano Toons" - An Exploration of Music, Rhythm, and Sound!

“Piano Toons” is an exciting, educational, fun-filled, and hands-on piano program for children ages 4 & 5. The program offers small group piano lessons (maximum of 6 students per class) for eager 4 & 5 year olds who are excited to play the piano, but are not quite ready for private lessons.  Due to its’ unique class setting, this program is also a great supplement for young children who take violin lessons.

Piano Toons provides:

-Repetition that reinforces learning
-Rhythmic beats that enhance coordination
-Melodies & Patterns that are easy for pre-schoolers to understand
-Activities & movement that make learning interactive and FUN!
-A great supplement for other music lessons

Piano Toons develops:

-Musical skills & artistic appreciation
-Socialization skills such as sharing and taking turns
-Basic foundation for future musical leaning
-Physical coordination, awareness and balance

Piano Toons help students to achieve knowledge and ability to:

-Read notes & identify them on the piano
-Identify beat values of different notes and rests
-Assume proper hand position on keys
-Play simple songs

Piano Toons details:

-Maximum of 6 students in each class
-Class duration: 45 minutes/twice per week
-Tuition per class: $20

Art Class (click for calendar)

BAMA offers a comprehensive, fun packed art program for children of 6 years and older. Through weekly 90-minute classes, different forms, styles and techniques of art, such as water color, charcoal and oil parting, cartooning, sculpture making are experienced in the class. A different project is introduced every 2-3 weeks. Our small group setting ensures that each student will get enough personal attention and assistance from the instructor. Students learn and explore a wide variety of art forms through well planned classes in a fun, encouraging atmosphere. View a full description of our art program here!
