Summertime is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of flexible schedules, long days and plenty of free time! If you register for private music lessons this summer with us, we are offering the following group classes (free of charge) in addition your weekly music lesson:
Guitar Pop/Rock Ensemble (Beginners only): Students will learn and polish the basic techniques of playing through songs like ‘Let it Go’ from Frozen and other popular repertoire. BAMA guitar instructor, Kenji Haba, will be leading the group.
Melody Makers: This glee-club-like singing group will work together as one to perform hits from today and the past. You can expect to sing, do a little dancing and perfect your performance skills this summer!
The Broadway Stage: Created by BAMA vocal instructor, Marissa Lynn Keegan, the goal of this group is to help all students who have a passion for musical theater. Students will individually perform pieces from famous Broadway musicals, perfect their monologue skills and work on various other stage skills necessary for seasoned performers.
Art Adventures: We have decided to try something new this year and offer our art class ‘drop-in’ style. This means you can show up anytime between 3-6pm, every day we’re open, and explore the world of art with our instructor Melissa. Students will be working with various mediums with 1 big project per week. If you’d like to try this class without taking lessons, that’s fine too! The cost is $35/class and is pay-as-you-go.
