James Gatti is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, educator, and recording artist originally from Bergen County. A proud graduate of William Paterson University, James holds a Bachelor’s in Music, having studied under the esteemed mentorship of Frank Pavese and Ella Kirkpatrick.

James is proficient in guitar, piano, bass, ukulele, and drums. Over the course of his career, he has been featured on several recordings and has brought his passion for music to the community as a Direct Support Professional. He has been a dedicated faculty member at BAMA, where his core teaching philosophy centers around a simple, powerful truth: "put the work in." Reflecting his commitment to the healing and transformative power of music, James was recently accepted into graduate school for music therapy. Outside of teaching and performing, he stays active by pursuing his interests in fitness and finance.
