30 Minutes: $49 per lesson

45 Minutes:  $72 per lesson

60 Minutes:  $92 per lesson

  • Students enroll on a per-semester basis. Tuition is based on the number of lessons in the semester - generally 18 to 19 lessons per semester.

  • Students may enroll at any time. If the semester has already begun, tuition will prorated based on the remaining number of lessons in the semester.

Fall/Winter 2021 Semester Tuition

30 Minute Lesson: $931 if your lesson falls on Mon or Tue, $882 if your lesson falls on Wed, Thu, Fri or Sat

45 Minute Lesson: $1368 if your lesson falls on Mon or Tue, $1296 if your lesson falls on Wed, Thu, Fri or Sat

60 Minute Lesson: $$1748 if your lesson falls on Mon or Tue, $1656 if your lesson falls on Wed, Thu, Fri or Sat


​-For each additional instrument or household family member registration, a 10% discount will be given (taken off the lower of the tuition rates).

-For payment of full year tuition in full (Fall/Winter plus Spring) before the start of the Fall/Winter Semester, 10% tuition discount will be given for the 1st household registration, 15% discount for the 2nd household registration, and 20% discount for any additional registrations.

Payment Methods: BAMA accepts checks or credit card for tuition and other student costs.  Monthly payment plans are available.  Checks should be made out to: Bergen Academy of Music and Art, Inc.


Registration Fee and Terms: A non-refundable fee of $40 per student is required yearly at the time of registration. Students who have been with us an uninterrupted 2 full years do NOT pay a registration fee.​


Recital Fee: A fee of $40 per student is collected at the beginning of each SPRING semester with tuition. The $40 recital fee will be refunded at the end of the semester if the student does not participate in the recital.

Returned Payment Fees: Returned payments will be assessed a $30.00 returned payment fee.


Pre-registration Deposit: Pre-registration is available to all students in May to reserve a lesson spot for the following school year. A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required for each reserved lesson spot. Once the completion deadline for pre-registration expires, the $150 deposit will not be refunded or credited to other lessons if the student withdraws from the reserved lesson.

Additional Notes:

  1. Tuition and fees are due at the beginning of each semester before the first lesson. If you did not receive an invoice, have any question or wish to discuss the study plan, you must contact us before the due date.

  2. Please remit all payments to the school receptionist. All payments received will be issued a a receipt. If you do not receive the receipt, please do not hesitate to ask.

  3. No tuition reduction, rebates or credits are given for missed lessons. Lessons are made up according to school’s cancellation policy.

  4. If there are two or more children in the same family studying at Academy of Music, please pay for each child with a separate check.
