*Please note that tuition is billed on a SEMESTER basis, not weekly or monthly.
Tuition is due in full before the start of each semester. For students registering after the start of a semester,
tuition will be prorated based on the number of lessons remaining in the semester.
Students enroll on SEMESTER basis. Tuition is based on the number of lessons in the full semester - generally 18 to 19 lessons per semester, except for our shorter Summer Semester (6-8 lessons). Tuition for the full semester is due before the start of the semester to secure your lesson spot.
Students may enroll at any time, but must commit for the full remainder of the semester. If the semester has already begun, tuition will prorated based on the number of lessons remaining in the semester.
For any additional instrument or household member enrollments, a 10% tuition discount will be given off the 2nd enrollment (taken off the lower of the tuition rates), a 15% tuition discount will be given off the 3rd enrollment, and any additional enrollments beyond the 3rd enrollment will receive a 20% tuition discount.
For payment of full school year tuition in full (Fall plus Spring Semesters) before the start of the Fall Semester, 10% tuition discount will be given for the 1st household registration, 15% discount for the 2nd household registration, and 20% discount for any additional registrations.
Payment Methods: BAMA accepts cash or check payment. Credit card payments are accepted, but will incur a 2.9% processing fee. Payment plans are available for an additional fee. Checks should be made out to: Bergen Academy of Music and Art, Inc.
Registration Fee and Terms: A non-refundable fee of $40 per student is required at the time of registration.
Recital Fee: A fee of $40 per student is collected at the beginning of each SPRING semester with tuition. The $40 recital fee will be refunded at the end of the semester if the student does not wish to participate in the recital and notifies us by the notification deadline.
Returned Payment Fees: Returned payments will be assessed a $30.00 returned payment fee.
Pre-registration Deposit: Pre-registration is available to currently active students in the Spring Semester to reserve a lesson spot for the following Fall Semester. A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required for each reserved lesson spot.
Tuition and fees are due at the beginning of each semester before the first lesson.
No refunds or tuition credits are given for missed lessons. As a courtesy, up to two makeup lessons per semester may be offered as per our Cancelation/Makeup Policy guidelines.
